What’s is Next For Hunt Showdown 2023

Hunt Showdown is a popular first-person shooter game that has been gaining a lot of attention lately. The developers of the game have been sharing their plans for the future of Hunt Showdown, including new features, updates, and more.

2023!

Spring Update

The Spring update will include improvements to matchmaking, with a focus on full lobbies. Additionally, there will be a greater range of MMR ratings per match. More details about this update were shared in a recent stream, so be sure to check it out if you want to learn more.

Summer Update

The Summer update will bring wild targets (bosses outside compounds), and a refactor of the blood bound system. There was also some jokes about “new boss when”, not sure if they’re teasing a new boss. Players will be able to respec traits and health bars with hunt dollars. Blood bounds will be just for cosmetics and will not affect gameplay. A summer event is also planned, as well as new weather-based wild cards (like the inferno before) and more player choice, such as choosing to play wild cards or normal day/night cycles.

New pacts and experimental traits are also planned, with a skill tree instead of being able to grab all perks. There will be a new video around the end of the summer to give a sneak peek at what’s coming in Q3 and Q4.

Fall and Winter Updates

The Fall and Winter updates will include a shooting range mode that can be done multiplayer with PvP enabled. The report system will also be upgraded to deal with the influx of new players and bad actors. The developers plan to be more transparent about what happens when players report others.

The game will be upgraded to 5.11, which will mainly focus on being able to run on next-gen consoles. The team also plans to bring in more international hunters, as well as more weapon variations and types.

2024

In 2024, the developers plan to release a new map and map biome, as well as potentially more game modes. Custom lobbies will also be introduced after the update to the new version of the engine.

Overall, it seems that the developers have big plans for Hunt Showdown in the coming years. With regular updates and new features, the game is sure to keep players engaged for a long time to come.
